The Lagos State Head of Service, Mr. Bode Agoro, has congratulated all Muslim faithful in the State for the successful completion of fasting in the holy month of Ramadan.
He stressed that the dedication and resilience displayed during Ramadan are truly inspiring, adding that the month of Ramadan is the period of self-reflection that strengthens the core values of Islam, which are peace, unity, and compassion.
Speaking after the Eid-El-Fitr prayer held at the Dodan Barracks praying ground Obalende, Agoro implored all Muslim faithful to imbibe and practise the virtues that entail kindness, love, tolerance and peace, as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him).
He however, urged residents to continue to imbibe the spirit of unity among themselves to achieve peace, harmony and oneness in the State.
While wishing all Muslims across the State, particularly all public servants, a happy Eid-El-Fitr celebration, the Head of Service prayed that the peace, blessings, and favour of Allah be with everyone in Lagos and the country at large.
