The Executive Governor of the State of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola will host all accredited foreign Ambassadors and High Commissioners in Nigeria as well as captains of industries in Nigeria agricultural sector to a dinner in Abuja.
The dinner which will be hosted at the State of Osun Governor’s Lodge, Asokoro, Abuja on Thursday, 18 October, is being organised to sensitise the foreign diplomats and other stakeholders on the forthcoming agro-technology exhibition and conference tagged Agritech Nigeria Osun 2018, which has been scheduled for Osogbo Stadium.
Agritech Nigeria Osun 2018, the first Nigeria’s largest exhibition and conference on agriculture, farm machineries, dairy, poultry, water technology, livestock equipment, agriculture processing technologies and environmental control.
While the Governor is hosting the dinner, the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs is handling the mobilisation of the Ambassadors and High Commissioners in Nigeria to the event
Expected at the dinner are Mr. Geoffrey Onyeama, the Minister of Foreign Affair, Chief Audu Ogbeh, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Engr. Suleiman Adamu (Water Resources), Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu (Science and Technology), Mallam Ibrahim Usman Jibril (Environment), Professor Isaac Adewale (Health), Mr. Asishana Bayo Okauru, Director General, Nigeria Governors’ Forum, Chairman Governing Board of Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria, Barrister Adetunji Ajagbe, representative of the World Bank in Nigeria, President and Director General of Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), Chief Executive Officers of Bank of Industry, Bank of Agriculture, Nigeria Export and Import Bank, Nigeria Export Promotion Council, Nigeria Investment Promotion Commission, Director General of Small & Medium Enterprises Development Agency Of Nigeria (SMEDAN) and others.
