In line with established diplomatic protocol, His Excellency, Amb Elijah Onyeagba PhD, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to the Republic of Burundi today, Thursday May 20, 2021, met with Burundi’s Foreign Affairs Minister, His Excellency Amb. Albert Shingiro, to present copies of his letters of credence.
At the meeting held in the Burundian Foreign Affairs Ministry Complex, the Nigerian envoy was received by Amb. Albert Shingiro, who after receiving the copies of the letters of credence, will lead Amb Elijah Onyeagba, PhD, to the President of the Republic of Burundi tomorrow for the official presentation of his letters of credence.
Recall that the Nigerian Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Burundi received a delegation from Burundi’s Private Sector led by Deo Ngendehayo and Eddy Mbona. The deliberation focused on expanding both economies by strengthening trade ties between both African countries.
