The Chairman, Senate Committee on Finance, Senator Solomon Adeola, has described the demise of Senator Abiola Ajimobi, the last Deputy National Chairman (South) of APC and former Governor of Oyo State as the loss of a patriotic Nigerian and consummate visionary politician with much to offer Nigeria.
In a condolence message to the family of the deceased and the people and Government of Oyo State, Senator Adeola stated that the death of Ajimobi is a sad incident at a time his wealth of experience as a respected legislator and a former Governor is needed in the affairs of our nation stressing that his death is not only a loss to his family and Oyo State but the people of Nigeria.
He called on those he left behind to continue his legacies as a detribalized and principled Yoruba man who made a mark in the development of his people and the nation.
Senator Adeola prayed God for the peaceful repose of his soul and the fortitude for his family and political associates to bear the irreparable loss.
