The political atmosphere in Alimosho Local Government area, Lagos State, may have moved to another level following the recent meeting between the newly crowned Asiwaju of Alimosho, Engr. Ariori,  the Minister of Internal Affairs, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and Senator Solomon Adeola, popularly known as Yayi.

P.M.EXPRESS exclusively gathered that Senator Yayi and Ogbeni Aregbesola met with Ariori in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, where they had a crucial meeting, which lasted for several hours over the lingering crisis in Alimosho bothering on bad leadership over the years.

It was not confirmed who initiated the meeting and the details of the meeting also was not known yet as the parties involved could not be reached for comments.

However, feelers from reliable sources indicated that the duo of Aregbesola and Yayi knew the implication of the revolts by the Alimosho youths and the danger on future political activities. Thus, the meeting was held to discuss ways forward for peace to return to Alimosho, which is the largest Local Government in Nigeria.

Alimosho had been in crisis after the youths denounced the leadership led by Alhaji Abdullahi Enilolobo and passed a vote of no confidence on them for the plight of the youths in Alimosho over the years.
The youths then formed a new movement and demanded for fresh leadership to move forward.
In the new movement, Engr Ariori was made the Chief Mobilizer and the youths further crowned him, the Asiwaju of Alimosho, with the mandate to lead them and restore sanity in Alimosho.

This may have informed his invitation to Abuja for the peace meeting to pacify the aggrieved youths through Ariori.

It appears peace may return to Alimosho following information going around that the parties may eventually embrace peace following the intervention of Ogbeni Aregbesola and Senator Yayi.
