The Anambra State Government has advised property owners along the Amawbia-Agulu-Nanka-Ekwulobia-Uga routes to begin to relocate them somewhere else to avoid being adversely affected by the road dualization project.
According to Sir Paul Nwosu, the Honourable Commissioner for Information, the law demands that property along Federal highway must be set back by 47.5 meters from center of the road. Anything short of that is a violation of the law and such a property will be regarded and treated as an illegal structure.
By this notice, the Anambra State Government wishes to minimize avoidable losses on the part of those that could be affected.
