Ahead of the flagging off of the campaign for the general election coming up in 2023, one of the support groups for the actualisation of Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s presidential ambition, the Amazons, has declared its commitment to ensuring that the ruling party, the All Progressive Congress (APC) wins the election.
The Amazons for Tinubu/Shettima, a group of women of like minds, cut across ethnicities, religions and classes in Nigeria, while its membership is spread across the 37 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Led by its National Coordinator, Comrade Temitayo Ayodele, the Amazons told the PCC that they will leave nothing to chance to ensure that Tinubu is elected the next president of Nigeria.
Ms Ayodele said: “Amazons for Tinubu/Shettima ticket is solely a women support group that has the passion to mobilise deep to the grassroots. We are proud to be part of this campaign to consolidate the achievements of our great party in moving the country forward.
