Amb. Chijioke Ihunwo Signs 2025 Appropriation Bill Into Law, Vows To Develop The LGA

As part of his unwavering commitment to implementing his administrative developmental initiative and people-oriented programmes, the Executive Chairman of Obio/Akpor Local Government Council, Rivers State, Hon. Chief Amb. Chijioke Ihunwo, on Friday, 7th January, 2025, officially signed the 2025 Appropriation Bill, transforming it into law.
The budget estimate, which stood at a substantial sum of over twelve point four billion Naira, was meticulously presented to the distinguished lawmakers a fortnight ago. Following a thorough examination that spanned several weeks, the lawmakers granted their unanimous approval to the budget estimates, endorsing its passage into law.
In a momentous ceremony held on Friday, the workaholic and result -driven Council Chairman, Ihunwo, expressed  heartfelt gratitude to the legizlators for their diligent efforts in scrutinizing and refining the document.
According to him: with the bill now solidified as law, his dedicated team is poised to embark on an intensified mission to propel development across every corner  of the Obio/Akpor local government.
Addressing newsmen at the Council conference hall immediately after the presentation, Hon. Chief Chijioke Ihunwo, remarked that the pivotal step marks the beginning of a new chapter where their collective endeavours will be focused on expediting progress and enhancing the welfare of their constituents.
