The President General of notable Niger Delta socio-cultural group, the Orashi National Congress, ONC, Ambassador Comrade Emeni Ibe, JP, AP, has congratulated Mr. Adegbite Falade, MD/CEO, on receiving the H.E. Dr. Alirio Parra Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2026 NOG Energy Awards.
The award recognizes decades of distinguished service and impact in Nigeria’s oil and gas sector.
The H.E. Dr. Alirio Parra Lifetime Achievement Award is presented to individuals who have demonstrated exceptional dedication, leadership, and lasting impact within the energy industry over the course of their career.
Named in honour of one of the co-founders of NOG Energy Week, H.E. Dr. Alirio Parra, the award celebrates industry leaders whose work has not only achieved excellence but has also shaped industry standards, inspired peers, and contributed meaningfully to long-term progress and innovation.
In his congratulatory message, Amb. Ibe described the recognition as well-deserved.
“This prestigious honour is a testament to Mr. Falade’s enduring leadership, commitment to excellence, and significant contributions to the advancement of Nigeria’s energy industry,” he stated. “We are proud to celebrate this well-deserved honour and the continuing impact of his leadership.”
The ONC President General noted that Mr. Falade’s contributions align with ONC’s advocacy for indigenous capacity, sustainable development, and inclusive growth in Nigeria’s energy sector, particularly in oil-producing communities across the Niger Delta including the Orashi region.
