Amb. Emeni Ibe Mourns Eze Amuda Evarestus Ginikanwa, Nze-Obi Of Egbema Alinsor III

The President General of notable Niger Delta socio-cultural group, the Orashi National Congress, ONC, Ambassador Comrade Emeni Ibe, JP, AP, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of His Royal Majesty, Eze Amuda Evarestus Ginikanwa, the Nze-Obi of Egbema Alinsor III.

 

The revered monarch was a respected traditional ruler and father figure to the people of Egbema Kingdom in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area.

In a condolence message, Amb. Ibe described the late Eze as a custodian of culture and a unifying voice for his people.

“It is with a heavy heart that we received news of the transition of Eze Amuda Evarestus Ginikanwa. He was not just a king to Egbema, but a father to all. His wisdom, peaceful disposition, and commitment to the unity of the Orashi people will be sorely missed,” he said.

On behalf of the leadership and members of the Orashi National Congress, Amb. Ibe extended heartfelt sympathies to the people of Egbema and the Amuda Royal Family.

 

“Hearty consolation and deepest condolences to the People of Egbema and the Amuda Family for the loss of the King and Father: Rest on, Eze Amuda Evarestus Ginikanwa, The Nze-Obi of Egbema Alinsor III.”

The ONC President General prayed for the peaceful repose of the monarch’s soul and for strength for the bereaved.

“May your passage into the great-beyond be a smooth and peaceful one. Amen.”

He also urged the people of Egbema to uphold the legacies of peace, unity, and cultural preservation that the late Eze championed during his reign.

Eze Amuda Evarestus Ginikanwa, Nze-Obi of Egbema Alinsor III, was known for his dedication to community development, conflict resolution, and the promotion of Orashi cultural heritage. His reign was marked by efforts to foster harmony among communities in the Niger Delta.

The Orashi National Congress is the apex socio-cultural body for communities along the Orashi River basin, including ONELGA, Abua/Odual, Ahoada East, and Ahoada West.
