A business mogul and philanthropist, Ambassador Cyril Ezewele, has demonstrated genuine act of human kindness by showing compassion to the less privileged in the society in Lagos.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that Ezewele gave out some grinding machines to the less privileged as a way of supporting them to sustain their families and homes.

The amazing gesture was borne out of the desire to assist the targeted people, who are battling daily to feed their families and to assist the government especially at this Covid-19 lockdown.

Ezewele, who confirmed the gesture, said he discovered that it was better to provide them with the machines which grind tomatoes, pepper and other food items that will be giving them daily income and sustain them than given them money for feeding.

He noted that many families are facing hard times due to the Covid-19 lockdown without any visible plans by the government both the Federal and States for the less privileged in the society. He also said that the gesture will be a continuous exercise to empower many people who really need assistance to move on with their lives.

Ezewele appealed to other prominent Nigerians to join the crusade of assisting the less privileged to make their lives better as the government may not do it alone and are appears not willing to do so.

P.M.EXPRESS confirmed that it was not the first time Ambassador Ezewele was embarking on this kind of gesture. During the peak of the lockdown, he donated truck loads of food items comprising Indomie noodles, rice and other valuable items to the poor.
These may have informed his decision to empower the poor by providing machines that will enable them to take care of themselves and families.

Uromi Edo State-born Ezewele, who has been championing Anti-corruption crusade, is a newspaper columnist and publisher of a popular book on Corruption in Nigeria. He spent so many years abroad before he finally returned to Nigeria and established many companies including investing in hospitality business. He is happily married with many children.
