As Anambra comes to terms with the outcome of the just concluded gubernatorial election held on November 8, 2025, political conversations have been heating up across the state, as to the reelection of Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo of APGA for a second term.
Recall that Governor Soludo, an accomplished economist and former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, swept all 21 local government areas in Anambra to win the governorship poll by a massive landslide, trouncing all his political opponents in an election that highlights how Anambra State remains an APGA dominated state.
As the drumbeats of celebrations continue to reverberate, Okafor Chinedu Emmanuel, a proud member of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), has urged Ndi Anambra to see this election as an opportunity to reinforce the state’s legacy of progressive governance.
He argues that continuity is key to sustaining development, especially in areas like infrastructure, education, and industrial policy. For Okafor, elections are not merely about personalities but about shared visions. He calls on young people, women, and community leaders to actively participate in the democratic process to strengthen APGA’s grassroots movement.
Okafor Emmanuel insists that the just concluded election has determined whether Anambra continues on its path of development or risks political setbacks. He said the results showed that Ndi Anambra voted for policies, not empty promises,.
