It is understandable that the APC candidates long lost steam in the match towards November 8 governorship election. Not only do they battle the lifelessness of the APC in Anambra State, they further face the greater challenge of being the most insulting combination of individuals aspiring to govern Anambra State since its creation.
The story around towns and villages in Anambra is that “Anambra State has outgrown persons like Ukachukwu and Ekwunife” in stature and status. For Uche and her pipe dream, what has become her most disturbing pain point is the realization that Ndi Anambra have become even more clinical in their zoning arrangement.
An Ekwunife, who is currently on a drive for visibility, has told her close allies that the November 8 election is her personal fundraising for future elections. So, each time any mention is made about the politics of Anambra central she develops high blood pressure. As a Poiitician, the people of Anambra central have graciously extended immense courtesies to her. Yet, in 2021 when it was the turn of Anambra South to produce the Governor, she switched to her community of origin and became “Ada Igboukwu”. This political mischief is certainly not an advantage and Ekwunife knows this, and this is the cause of the lamentation by her hirelings.
Ndi Anambra central are no more to be deceived by a serial contestant who hopes to enjoy the best of two worlds. Someone’s card is up. She knows, the people know and we know too. This is how the cookies crumble!
