Ahead of the November 6, 2021 Anambra governorship election, frontline candidate, Senator Andy Uba, yesterday received in audience an American delegation.
The team, which focus centered around the processes leading up to the polls, exchanged views with Senator Uba, with a view towards ensuring a transparent and hitch free environment for the conduct of the polls.
Led by Brandon Hudspeth, the Embassy’s Political/Economic Chief covering Southern Nigeria, other members included Jim Suor, U.S. Consulate Security Chief; Briana Olson, Political Officer covering the South East region; and Arnold Abulime, Political Specialist.
Senator Uba was joined at the high-level talks by the duo of Ambassador Jerry Ugokwe and Nze Chidi Duru, both former members of Nigeria’s House of Representatives.
