A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and APC SouthWest Women Leader, Chief Mrs. Kemi Nelson (Yeyesewa), has donated the sum of N1.5 million to her constituents in the Ikeja Federal Constituency of Lagos State.
P.M.EXPRESS gathered that from her donation, Yeyesewa said that N500,000 each will go to Ojodu, Onigbongbo and Ikeja LG respectively being her support to help ameliorate the sufferings of the people while observing the stay at home order.
The quintessential Women Leader, Yeyesewa, had earlier in her Easter message to Nigerians assured the people that the Covid-19 ravaging the world will soon be over.
She said, “I ask that the blood of Jesus, which was shed on the Cross of Calvary, cleanse our sins and that His resurrection power heal our lands and take away the plague from every nations of the world in Jesus name”.
“This is not the time to fear but the time to trust in the Lord and rely solely on His covenant and His promises.”
She also pleaded with the people to obey the stay at home order so that the pandemic can be contained in no time.
“Please stay safe and stay at home!” Chief Mrs. Nelson admonished.
