APC Ilaje Support Group (Lagos) Congratulates Aiyedatiwa

The APC Ilaje Support Group comprising nationalities of Ilaje extraction based in Lagos State, have congratulated Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on his resounding victory at the just concluded Ondo State gubernatorial election of Saturday 16 November 2024.

In a press statement issued in Igbokoda in Ilaje local government council area of Ondo State and signed by the Chairman Aare Olabode Thomas Ojabogun and Secretary Engr. Tunde Omojuwa, the group commended the good people of Ondo State across the 18 local government council areas for coming out to vote peacefully and orderly on election day to vote Governor Aiyedatiwa into office.

The Group applauded INEC for its outstanding performance which contributed to the freeness, fairness, credibility and integrity of the process and the outcome which is a reflection of the will of the people.

The Security agencies were particularly commended for their professionalism, neutrality, patriotism and diligence to duty in ensuring that peace prevailed before, during and after the election.

APC Ilaje Support Group also praised the media and election observers for their professionalism and neutrality which helped deepen the democratic process and the credibility of the election.

The Group described the election and its outcome as a victory for democracy and the will of the people which is the bedrock of democracy.

The APC Ilaje Support Group Lagos also used the occasion of its statement to call on other aspirants who participated in the election to embrace the conduct and outcome as a collective responsibility and join hands with Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa to move Ondo State forward.
