APC National Women Leader Pays Courtesy Call To The Oba Of Benin Kingdom

During the visit, Dr. Mrs. Mary Alile commended the Oba for his leadership and his efforts in promoting peace and unity in the kingdom. She also highlighted the role of women in nation-building, and called for more representation of women in political leadership positions.

The APC National Women Leader, whose basic agenda for this courtesy visit was to get the Royal blessings of the Oba of Benin, said that blessings from the Oba of Benin can represent a driving force towards herself and the APC.

The Oba, in his response, thanked Dr. Mrs. Mary Alile for her visit and assured her of his support for the empowerment and advancement of women in society, as he, in his royal glory, blessed the APC National Women Leader.

The visit was seen as a positive gesture towards strengthening the relationship between the APC and the Benin Kingdom.
