APC Women Leader Engages In Strategic Meeting With APC In Diaspora National Deputy Youth Leader (USA Chapter)

In a bid to foster unity and synergy within the All Progressives Congress (APC) party, the APC National Women Leader, Dr. Mrs. Mary Alile, on Wednesday, the 24th of April, 2024, convened a crucial meeting with the APC National Deputy Youth Leader (USA Chapter), Mr. Oyakhilome Bello, alongside his team.

The gathering, held in the office of the APC National Women Leader, at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja, Nigeria, served as a platform for robust discussions on various issues affecting the party’s agenda, particularly in mobilizing support and engagement among women and youths across the country and in diaspora.

Dr. Mrs. Mary Alile expressed her appreciation for the significant role played by the youth in driving the party’s objectives forward, acknowledging their passion and dedication to the APC’s vision of a prosperous Nigeria.

In her address, she emphasized the importance of inclusivity and collaboration across all demographics within the party, stressing the need to harness the collective strength of women and youth for sustainable development and political advancement.

Mr. Bello, representing the youth constituency, through his foundation in Nigeria, would be rolling out an empowerment program for the youth and women, which will be starting in Lagos. He commended Dr. Mrs. Mary Alile for her exemplary leadership and unwavering commitment to advancing the interests of women within the APC. He reiterated the youth’s readiness to work hand-in-hand with women leaders to amplify the party’s impact across all levels of governance.

The meeting concluded with a resolution to establish a joint task force comprising members from both the women and youth wings of the party, tasked with implementing targeted initiatives to enhance participation, advocacy and empowerment among women and youth within the APC, across the nation.

The collaboration between Dr. Mrs. Mary Alile, the APC National Women Leader, and Mr. Oyakhilome Bello, the National Deputy Youth Leader (USA Chapter), in conjunction with the APC Diaspora Chapter, underscores the party’s determination to build a vibrant and inclusive political platform that reflects the diverse aspirations of Nigerians at home and abroad.
