The National Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Mary Alile-Idele, has congratulated the former Edo State governor and Senator representing North Senatorial District, Senator Adams Oshiomhole on the occasion of his 72nd birthday.
Dr. Alile in a congratulatory message on Thursday described the former APC national chairman as a political juggernaut and democratic strategist of no mean repute.
She hailed the former President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) saying “Distinguished Senator Adams Oshiomhole is a political juggernaut that has bestrode the political firmament of Edo State and the nation at large as a Colossus and deserves to be honoured.
“Your Excellency, as you celebrate 72 years today, I, on behalf of the APC women and indeed all Nigerian women wish you many more healthy and prosperous years ahead.
“You are an asset to the APC and our democracy cannot be complete without the contribution of great strategists like you, who risked your lives for the sustenance of the democracy we are enjoying today.
“As governor, you laid a solid foundation for the development of Edo State and your legacies are indelible. As national chairman, you repositioned the APC and made it the preferred democratic product for the Nigerian electorate.
“We pray that the Almighty God will grant you more wisdom and strengthen you to continue to serve the good people of Edo North, our great party, the APC and Nigeria in general. Congratulations sir!”
