Ahead of APGA’s State Congress, the Anambra Independent Media Support Group, AIMSG, has concluded arrangements for a debate where the candidates would be grilled on Integrity, Party Loyalty, Fraternity, Competence, Experience, Credibility, and Transformational Leadership Imperatives.
Addressing Journalists today in Awka, the Director General, AIMSG, Dr. Chuma-Odili Harris, who noted that the initiative is geared towards ensuring that APGA delegates are better informed on the political policies of the Chairmanship candidates and take informed decisions as they go to polls on Tuesday May 23, 2023, to elect the new Chairman of the party.
Chuma said, “It is against the preceding that the participants of the APGA state Chairmanship debate are expected to share their insights on how the ruling party in the state can sustainably grow its membership while addressing core issues of governance”.
The Director General, who disclosed that the debate would be broadcast by all Social media platforms, both online and terrestrial television networks, said that dozens of journalists, bloggers, social media influencers have been invited to the event.
According to him, the debate would last for a duration of 120 minutes and it is scheduled to hold 21st of May 2023, at Best Western Meloch Hotel, Awka.
