Another round of league matches will take place in the Premier League, Serie A, and Laliga this weekend. The biggest match of the lot will be in the Premier League, where treble winners, Manchester City will face Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium. All the weekend action will be available to customers on DStv Compact and GOtv Supa+.

Arsenal are yet to defeat Manchester City in a league match since Pep Guardiola came to England seven seasons ago. The gunners ran out of steam to finish second behind City last season, having topped the table for the majority of the campaign.

Arteta’s men however managed to edge the Citizens in the Community Shield in August, courtesy of a penalty shootout. Both sides are struggling with injuries to key players ahead of the tie. Kevin Debryne is currently out on a long-term injury, while Rodri is suspended. Arsenal are battling with the fitness of their star man, Bukayo Saka, while Gabriel Martinelli is also a serious doubt.

Manchester City suffered their first league defeat of the season away at Wolves last week but remains top of the table with 18 points from 7 matches. Arsenal are yet to lose a league match this season and are currently third in the table with 17 points. Tune in to SuperSport Premier League (DStv ch 203 and GOtv ch 66) at 4:30pm on Sunday to watch the match live.

With just 9 points from a possible 21, Manchester United will aim to avoid three consecutive losses at Old Trafford when they host Brentford on Saturday, live on SuperSport Premier League (DStv ch 203 and GOtv ch 66), at 3pm. Before then, Luton Town will host Tottenham Hotspur, who remain unbeaten this season, at 12:30pm, on the same channel. Burnley will also host Chelsea at 3pm.

On Sunday, Brighton will host Liverpool in what promises to be an entertaining contest. West Ham will host Newcastle, while Wolves will welcome Aston Villa.

Laliga fixtures will see Real Madrid host Ossasuna at 3;15pm on Saturday, live on SuperSport Laliga (DStv ch 204 and GOtv ch 62). Mallorca will host Vallencia at 5:30pm; while Sevilla will host Real Vallecano at 8pm on the same channel. On Sunday, Villarreal will host Las Palmas at 1pm; Atletico Madrid will face Real Sociedad at 3:15pm, while defending champions Barcelona trade tackles with Granada at 8pm. All matches will be live on SuperSport Laliga (DStv cha 204 and GOtv ch 62).

In Serie A on Saturday, Inter Milan will face Bologna on SuperSport Variety 3 (DStv ch 208,  GOtv ch 63) at 2pm. The Turin derby between Juventus and Torina will be live on the same channel at 5pm, while Genoa will host AC Millan at 7:45pm. On Sunday, Lazio will host Atalanta at 2pm, Cagliari will welcome Roma at 5pm, and defending champions, Napoli, will host Fiorentina at 7:45pm.
