The Anambra-born billionaire and business mogul, Engr. Arthur Eze, has inaugurated a scholarship foundation for indigenes of his hometown, Ukpo, in Dunukofia Local Government area of the state.
Known as Prince Arthur Eze Scholarship Foundation, the scholarship foundation, which is to be chaired by first female Professor of Mass Communication in Sub Saharan Africa, Prof. Stella Okunna, is for the benefit of indigent and deserving students of the community in tertiary institutions.
Other four board members to administer the scholarship scheme alongside the Chairperson, are representatives of the four villages that make up the community, which include: Ichie Sir Izuchukwu Nwabueze (Secretary and representative of Oranto Village), Ichie Sir Emma Ogbogu (representative of Akpu Village), Ichie Pharm. Dr. Obinna Okeke (representative of Isiekwulu Village), as well as Ichie Barr Sir Chukwudi Chikelue (representative of Akaezi Village).
