Awka Agog As Philanthropist Shares Gifts, Drums Support For Sen. Victor Umeh, APGA Candidates

A renowned philanthropist and great mobiliser in the capital city of Anambra State, Amb. (Ọzọ) Emeka Jude Agumadu (Ọzọdinakachukwu) fondly called Baby Awka, on Sunday put smiles on the faces of majority of ndị Awka South as he distributed bags of rice and other gifts to make the Christmas and New Year celebrations more enjoyable and memorable. 

The event which drew several notable personalities in and within Awka including the dynamic Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Dr. Victor Umeh OFR (Ohamadike Ndigbo), ended in testimonies and jubilation as beneficiaries praised Baby Awka for his exemplary humility and generosity describing him as an uncommon personality and blessing to Awka.

Consequently, another notable industrious Awka indigene who was pleased by the humanitarian gestures of Amb. Jude Agumadu, Chief Chibueze Ifediora also donated 45 bags of rice to boost the impact of the ceremony.

Ọzọ Jude Agumadu, who spoke to the people on the significance of Christmas and New Year celebrations also thanked God for his blessings and protection throughout the passing year. He expressed optimism that the year 2019 will be better and fulfilling to all. Baby Awka also seized the opportunity to admonish the people on the forthcoming February 16th general elections urging them not to be deceived by desperate and insincere politicians but to maintain their support and solidarity for APGA candidates from the state assembly to Senatorial elections.

Ọzọdinakachukwu further canvassed particularly for more supports for Senator Victor Umeh who according to him has justified the confidence reposed on him by the people and has created a new awareness on legislative functions in Anambra Central and Igbo land in general.

Senator Victor Umeh who was accompanied by the TC Chairman of Anaocha LGA, Hon Engr. Ikeobi Ejiofor and whose presence caused great jubilation at the venue was received amidst accolades by the people who cheered him for his unprecedented accomplishments in the few months of his stay in the senate, assuring him of the total support and votes in Awka.

He commended Amb. Jude Agumadu for his humility and selfless support for APGA in Awka. Senator Umeh noted that Chief Jude Agumadu is a conscientious political leader of the people and has demonstrated untold capacity in works of charity and commitment to the party.
