Samjason Football Club will clash with Super Accurate Football Club of Ikotun at the Ayomide Gold Cup final scheduled to hold on Friday afternoon at the Egan Grammar School, Alimosho Lagos.
In the semi final played recently, Samjason thrashed Platinum FC 5-1, while Super Accurate pip Kedge Sport 1-0 in the second semi finals.
A total of 32 teams took part in the competition organised by Ayomide Gold.
The Chairman Organising Committee, Ayomide Gold told our correspondent that the competition was organised to empower the youths through football competition and thanked the participating teams and Alimosho Football Coaches Council for their support to make this year’s edition a huge success.
“I am happy that our set goals were achieved.More players were discovered and teams played better but only the best two teams are in final.As an organiser,I wish both of them best of luck in their final,”he said.
Speaking ahead of the final, Super Accurate coach, Idris Oseni admitted that the final would be tough against Samjason but boasted that his boys are ready for them.
Commenting on their semi final match played recently,Oseni disclosed that he was not satisfied with the slim win but commended his boys for the good performance throughout the tournament.
