Badagry League: DFA Boss Commends Teams, Sponsor

Chairman Badagry Divisional Football Association,Kayode Mobee has expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the teams that are taking part in the ongoing RAK Badagry Football Divisional League.

Mobee in a chat with our correspondent in Lagos said he was impressed with the standard of the league and level of officiating in all matches. He said there was no report of misconduct of any team since the league started and urged the teams to see the league as a friendly not a do or die affairs.

“Let me use this medium to commend the organizing committee, teams and officials for the job well done. So far so good, I have not gotten a serious negative report about Badagry league. This is to tell you that all the committees we created are working hard for the success of the league. Aside this, the fans also conducted themselves in orderly manner during and after the league and I want to urge the committee to intensify their effort and ensure that all the matches live up expectations,” he said.

Mobee said there are punishment for any team that violates the rules and admonished the coaches and club owners to educate their fans against soccer violence. He said the league is getting better and it would be a serious setback if organizers report any case that has to do with violence to him.

Mobee who doubles as Director of sports facility in Lagos State Sports Commission also commended the title sponsor, RAK Development Foundation for committing its resources for the league. He said the sponsor has done well in ensuring that the youths are fully engaged in Badagry and its environs.

“I thank RAK for identifying with grassroots football in Badagry. We really commend the sponsor because without them, we may not achieve what we achieved today in Badagry league. I wish all the teams best of luck in their outings,” he said    

The league enters week six on Wednesday in Ojo zone as Ajao FC  face Young Stars,Coljenny FC tackle Panpansa FA, 360SC battle Mighty Starlet as Bilda FA face Joint FC in the last match of the day.. All the matches in Ojo zone would hold at Cantonment Barrack, Ojo.

 In Badagry zone,Sky Rovers face 36 Lion FA, Badagry United tackle Paslaw FA, Mopson Academy tackle Rivas FC,while Super Heroes host New Era FA in the last match of the day.All the matches in Badry zone would  hold at Ibereko Barracks, Badagry.
