Bayern Munich vs Copenhagen, Other UCL Games to Air Live on GOtv

 

The race to qualify for the Round of 16 of the 2023/24 UEFA Champions League season is set to intensify on match day 5. You can watch some of the matches live on GOtv.

 

Copenhagen will be looking to improve their qualification chances when they visit the Allianz Arena to take on Bayern Munich. While the Bavarians have qualified for the next round having won the opening four games, Thomas Tuchel’s men are not renowned for their opponent’s free pass. Bayern Munich won the reverse fixture 1-2 at Parken Stadium. However, the Danish side will head into the game on the back of a 4-3 victory over Manchester United on matchday 4 and the drive to advance to the next round at the expense of the Red Devils and Galatasaray.

 

In Group B, Sevilla is faced with the tough task of turning their tides around in the competition, having failed to pick up three points in their opening four matches. They will host PSV Eindhoven at the Ramon Pizjuan on Wednesday. Tune in to SuperSport Premier League (ch 66) at 7pm to watch.

 

The reverse fixture of this tie ended 2-2 in dramatic fashion at the Philips Stadion. PSV’s captain and former Sevilla striker, Luuk De jong, equalised in the 86th minute to cancel Nemanja Gudelj’s 68th minute, Youseff En-Nesyri restored the visitor’s lead a minute later, before Jordan Teze scored in the 95th minute to deny the visitor’s a vital away win.

 

Group D leader, Real Sociedad, will be out to secure their place in the Round of 16 when they host Austrian side, Salzburg, on Wednesday. Tune in Tune in SuperSport La Liga (ch 62) at 7pm to watch.

 

The Spaniards picked up three points in the reverse fixture with a 0-2 victory courtesy of goals from Mikel Oyarzabal and Mendez Brais at the Red Bull Arena. Another three points will ensure they play in the Round of 16 for the first time since the 2003/04 season.
