BBNaija S11: 15 Housemates Up for Eviction in Week 6

All housemates, except Head of House Abi and Most Influential Player of the Week Sheba, have been placed on the eviction list this week, including former Gambits Aikou and Flora, who are now eligible to compete for the grand prize.

The nominations took an unexpected turn after Big Brother nullified the housemates’ earlier saves for discussing nominations and conspiring. This left the House with a fresh nomination slate, putting Barry, Keivo, Gerard, Aikou, Tram, Araga, Flora, Bells, Oyin, Nomy, Yusuf, Chimsom Chuka, Temi Nkem, Ricky and Bluethopia up for possible eviction.

Operation Release the Gambit

The nominations come in the same week that Aikou and Flora officially shed their Gambit status. During Sunday’s live show, Big Brother introduced Operation Release the Gambit, giving viewers the power to decide whether either or both Gambits would be released and allowed to compete for the grand prize.

Voting ended on Monday before nominations, with the decision clearing both Aikou and Flora to play for the prize after five weeks as Gambits. Their new status also means they can now face the same risks as the other housemates, including eviction.

Abi Wins HOH Again

Abi has secured another week of safety after winning the Head of House challenge for the second time this season. Bells, meanwhile, has been named Benchwarmer for the second time after a five-way tie between Yusuf, Sheba, Ricky, Bells and Nomy to determine the week’s worst-performing housemate. With the tie unresolved, Biggie turned to a dice roll to decide who would take on the Benchwarmer role, with Bells emerging as the final choice.

The housemates also faced the consequences of their actions from last week. Following their repeated disregard for Big Brother’s rules, ₦5 million was deducted from the prize money, bringing the total prize money to ₦90 million.

Voting lines are now open, with viewers deciding which of the 15 nominated housemates will remain in the competition. Voting closes at 9:00 p.m. on Thursday.

With Aikou and Flora now released from their Gambit status, the game has taken another turn, with both housemates now eligible to compete for the grand prize.
