Popular entertainment and leading urban radio station; The Beat 99.9fm recently celebrated it 7th year anniversary.
As part of activities that marked the 7th year anniversary, Beat FM was hosted at Spice Route for the Industry Nite special with music performances from HarrySong, Timaya, Skales, Mr 2Kay, Simi, and many more.
To celebrate the anniversary, Beat FM gave out a plot of land to a lucky radio caller Chidinma Ughamadu, who was officially awarded land documents and certificates.
Chidinma was named winner after she called into the station on the afternoon of the 9th of September, emerging the lucky 9th caller, answering a trivia question.
Speaking after the presentation of the land documents by TCVL Real Estate Executives, the Managing Director of Megalectrics, Chris Ubosi said “celebrating our listeners is of utmost importance to us and because it’s our anniversary we see it as an avenue to give back to our audience.”
Beat FM 99.9, began broadcasting on 9 September 2009 and has since expanded operations to Ibadan (The Beat97.9 FM) and London (The Beat 103.6 FM).
