Between Ossy Onuko & GUO Driver: There’s No Excuse…

MAZI EJIMOFOR OPARA

There is no excuse for whatever transpired yesterday between Ossy Onuko and the GUO driver. It is unfortunate and part of our frailties as humans. When that moment comes, as it is wont to in many young people, that moment when our minds are shut to rational choices, and before we say jack the event has happened beyond our immediate control, it is important to seek middle courses at all cost.

I take solace in the fact that Ossy has began the process of immediate reparation. First, was telling his side of the issue, then he apologized. I posted this yesterday.

This morning, a contrite Ossy has reached out to the GUO driver, who himself is calm, cool and stable. The attached photo and video evidence shows Ossy at the hospital this morning doing everything possible to check up and physically apologize to the Driver.

However, the guy has informed Ossy through the window of his hospital ward that his company, GUO Transport, has restrained him from talking to Ossy. This is understandable.

My consolation in all this is that Ossy is contrite and willing to rise above this low moment. I feel for Ossy. I sincerely do knowing that this too shall come to pass.

This other side of the drama where the same guy who stood up from his bed to speak to Ossy through the window is now been presented in a wheel chair on the social media is quite overboard.

Like the Lord’s prayer, we all must fervently pray not to be led into temptation.
