Bigly Oil & Gas Services, one the authorised revenue collectors and partners of the Anambra Internal Revenue Service, has commended the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo, on sending strong signals about the quest to break the poverty cycle in the State with the 1Youth 2Skills Initiative.

It will be recalled that Governor Soludo, in an unprecedented feat, empowered 5000 Anambra youths with the sum of 2.5Billion Naira and in the process churned out 5000 job creators in a massive human capital development drive.

Following the pleasant development, Bigly Oil & Gas, as one of the strong believers in the capacity of the Prof Soludo led administration, has commended the Governor for making sure that Anambra Youths have not only been taught how to fish, but also given fishes.

Speaking to journalists in Awka, the State capital, Bigly Oil & Gas, through their Public Relations Officer, Dr. Harris Chuma-Odili Udokamma, said, “It is certainly an unprecedented feat that over 5000 Anambra Youths, who were trained across various life transforming skill sets were equally empowered with 2.5Billion Naira as start-up grants with huge opportunity to access another 2 Billion Naira loan from the Bank of Industry at single digit interest rate”.

“At Bigly Oil & Gas, we are proud to identify with the ‘Solution Government’. With this initiative, Mr. Governor has not affected just 5000 families when you analytically look at the ripple effects of this unprecedented empowerment.”

“Governor Soludo, within a short period of time, has shown strong focus on addressing core issues of development. With this 1Youth 2Skills Initiative, the Governor’s promise to create one thousand youth millionaires annually is certainly realisable. Anambra is certainly on the right track to becoming the major player in the MSMEs in Nigeria.”

“We therefore, enjoin Ndi Anambra to continue to support Governor Soludo and key into the policies being marshaled out to take the Light of the Nation to greater heights.”
