Chief (Dr.) Mrs. Shade Okoya, the renowned Lagos socialite and wife of billionaire businessman, Chief Razaq Akanni Okoya, turned 41 on Wednesday, April 25.

While unlike last year when she clocked 40 and had one of the most lavish celebration in the city of Lagos, it was learnt the ever charming and gorgeous woman will not be rolling the drums.

Instead of the flamboyant party the Okoya family has come to be associated with,  Folasade will mark the day with prayer and thanksgiving to God and be with her immediate family and then move to one of their Eleganza factories where she works as director to be with their workers.

Our correspondent learnt that annually, in honour of her birthday, the sprawling Oluwa-ni-Shola Estate of the family in Lekki, always become the destination for all her friends and well-wishers who thronged the place to celebrate the amiable heartthrob of the quintessential business tycoon.

Last year when she turned 40, many will recall that the prestigious banquet hall within the expansive estate was adorned with a mind-blowing multimillion naira decoration as guests were wowed at the display of class and panache of the venue all in her honour.

People will also not forget in a hurry her gigantic birthday cake that sources said cost a fortune.

It was indeed a cynosure of all eyes at the high-class event then.
