Blame Women Over Broken Marriages In Nigeria- Female Pastor

  A female pastor and founder of the Glorious Women Ministry, Mrs. Funmi Olusunmade has stated that women should take the blame for most broken marriages in Nigeria because they lacked the understanding of keeping their husbands.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that Mrs. Olusunmade stated this on Saturday during the annual lecture organised to mark the birthday of Chief Sunny Akpoyibo Uwanogho, Otunba Akeweje of Meiran Kingdom, held at D Royal Hotel in Idimu, Lagos.

She said that some men appeared to be married but they were not really married because their wives had practically chased them out of their matrimonial homes because bad behaviour. She noted that no man will stay in any relationship that was not habitable as such if the wife starts misbehaving, such man will look outside for solace and he will surely get and the wife becomes the loser.

Pastor Olusunmade also advised that married women should take good care of their husbands, homes and ensure that they kept their husbands by observing what they like and do those things to keep them. She warned the women not to blame any person if they eventually destroy their marriages as a result their failure to do what they were supposed to do to keep their husbands.

The event was also used to reach out to the youths in Alimosho Local Government; they were advised to shun drugs and any form of criminality for the betterment of the society.

The Area Commander, Area M Idimu, ACP Austines Akika urged the youths to be mindful of the people they were associating with in order not to destroy their future. He advised the youths to shun hard drugs, cultism and other forms of criminality because they were seen to be leaders of tomorrow, adding that by engaging in those things they will destroy their future and society at large.

The occasion also witnessed the giving of awards to distinguished personalities who had contributed immensely in the area. Among the recipients of the award was the leader of Ndigbo in Alimosho, Eze Lawrence Eze, for his contributions to the development of Alimosho Local Government given by Voice of Nigeria News, VONN. So many other distinguished guests attended the event including the leaders and representatives from the celebrant’s home town in Delta State.
