Everything working out fine, the governor of Borno state, Alhaji Hashim Shettima  and the people of Borno state are set to honour two of their prestigious sons in the CHAN Suoer Eagles that have brought honours to the state and have become role models to the millions of youths in a state affected by the Boko Haram insurgents since 2009.

This was disclosed to PM EXPRESS in Casablanca by a top source working as one of the aides to the governor of the state in the North East and who wants to remain anonymous. He said that the two indigenes of the state are making the state and the country proud with their contribution to the Eagles going into the final against Morocco today, adding that the state will honour them in a very special way when they return to Nigeria.

” The governor , His Excellency Hashim Shettima is very happy with the team and particularly with the fact that two sons of Borno state are in the Eagles squad. This is rare to find in the Super Eagles team A,” the reliable source said.

Adding: ” Ibrahim Mustapha and Nura Mohammed both grew up in Maiduguri and watching them excelling in the national team is a motivation to a lot of youths in the state and the governor wants to reward these players as one of the ways to motivate the youths to pursue excellence in their endeavours. “

Both Mustapha and Nura play in the attack and despite not having a long playing time in the tournament , they  showed tremendous efforts in the little time given to them by the technical crew of the CHAN Eagles as second half substitutes in some games Nigeria played at the tournament .

Nura is the youngest player at the CHAN tournament at the age of 16 years .
