A 17-year old boy has landed in trouble after he was caught having sex with another a 13-year old girl in Lagos.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Adekoga Street, Shomolu area of Lagos, where they reside.

It was gathered that the boy allegedly lured the victim into an apartment and they engaged her in sex romp before they were caught by one of their neighbours, who exposed the act.

The victim alleged that it was the boy who lured her into the act without her consent and the matter was reported to the Police. The boy was then arrested and taken to the station for interrogation.

At the Police Station, the suspect reportedly admitted that he actually lured the victim into the act, she accepted and they started the sex romp before they were caught.
The Police found him culpable and later charged him before the Ogba Magistrates Court for defilement which is statutory rape.
He pleaded not guilty.

The prosecutor, Supol Benson Emerhi, then asked the Court to give a date for hearing to enable the Police to prove that he actually committed the offence.
However, the Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. O. Sule-Amzat, granted the defendant bail in the sum of N50,000 with one surety in like sum.
He was remanded in a juvenile remand centre pending when he will perfect his bail conditions. The matter was adjourned till 5th November, 2019.
The names of both the defendant and victim were withheld because they were still minors in line with the policy of P.M.EXPRESS.
