BOYSM Condemns Attempts To Defame APC Ahoada East Chairman

The Buhari Osinbajo Youth Support Movement, BOYSM, has condemned attempts orchestrated to defame the person of APC Ahoada East Chairman, Chief Hon Salvation Ezegwogwo. 

The group condemned the attempts in a statement signed by Most Snr. Comrade Emeni Ibe. They said, “Our attention has been drawn to wild and unfounded falsehood, campaign of calumny, imputations, uninformed, baseless, misinformed, defamatory, spurious, innuendoes comments and criticism with ill intention to cause ripples and cheap blackmail against the Chairman, APC, Ahoada East, Chief Hon Salvation Ezegwogwo”. 

“We in BOYSM advise the people making attempts to spoil the name of Chief Hon Salvation Ezegwogwo, to desist from the continuous unprovoked media attacks and unsolicited defamation of his person. Nobody should hide under any clause to trample upon the rights and reputation of others. We wish to remind these elements to respect and not to undermine the authority of the office of the God sent Chairman.”

“We are of the view that Chief Hon Salvation Ezegwogwo should be commended in his efforts to touch the lives of some party members. No amount of blackmail or campaign of calumny would deter Chief Hon Salvation Ezegwogwo from doing the needful towards ensuring that our party remain relevant in the scheme of things.”
“We are disturbed by the orchestrated attempts to use a section of the print and electronic media to subvert the truth through misguided and venomous statements with diabolic agenda to malign Hon Salvation Ezegwogwo. It is a dance of shame that ought to have been condemned; it is rather unfortunate and very regrettable that some highly respected politicians would descend so low as to cause this unfortunate resort to falsehood.”

“We call on our leaders to disregard these outright lies and to work together with Chief Hon Salvation Ezegwogwo, as this is the surest path to winning election for our party in the LGA and liberate our people from decades long history of frauds, underhand practices, eliminate cronyism and portfolio political jobbers.We therefore, advise these characters to stop the needles mudslinging against the new leadership of APC in Ahoada East. This attempt to tarish the image of Hon Salvation Ezegwogwo led Exco is a distraction and is totally unnecessary and uncalled for at this point in time, when well meaning progressives in Ahoada East need to close ranks to support the leadership. It is preposterous and outdated, contrary to claims in some quarters. Let us all be guided by the rule of the game not deploy tyrannical or witch hunting intent, as this is an act of political wickedness and irresponsibility just to cause or create an atmosphere of rancour and acrimony, which is highly frown at all of us at BOYSM” Comrade Ibe, APC Chieftain and President General Orashi National Congress concluded on behalf of BOYSM
