The non-teaching unions of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, made good their threat of shutting down activities in the institution if their demands were not met.
According to the workers, they were protesting the highhandedness of the university management towards their welfare. They said that the university management had ignored all efforts to resolve the issues on the roundtable.
The workers while protesting have also vowed to stop the university matriculation that has been slated for today 10th February, 2018 to drive home their points.
