Following the unfortunate accidental bombing of some Internally Displaced Persons and humanitarian workers in Rann Community, Borno State on Tuesday, President Muhammadu Buhari has send a high-powered delegation on a condolence visit to the government and people of the state.
Presidential spokesman, Mr Femi Adesina revealed this in a tweet via his handle @FemAdesina on Wednesday.
“A team from PMB heads for Maiduguri on condolence visit. It is made of Chief of Staff, Service Chiefs, Ministers of Information and Defence,” he tweeted.
The Presidential Delegation already in the state was led by Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari and they will also visit Rann community, Borno, where Nigerian Air Force had accidentally bombed the civilian community.
During the accidental bombing about 50 persons reportedly died and over 100 seriously wounded.
It was gathered that President Buhari had to cancel the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.
