The founder and spiritual head of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, Primate Babatunde Elijah Ayodele has reiterated his call for President Muhammadu Buhari to step down and allow Senate President Bukola Saraki to take over the mantle of leadership of the country.
Speaking with P.M.EXPRESS on Wednesday at his church headquarters in Lagos, Primate Ayodele said President Buhari should heed the advice of former President not to seek re-election, but allow and support Senate President Bukola Saraki to fly the flag of All Progressives Congress, APC in the Presidential election next year.
The clergy cum philanthropist said should President Buhari heed his advice, his honour will be double forever.
“I have nothing against President Buhari, in fact, he is a good-hearted leader but it will be great if he could step down for Dr. Bukola Saraki. From my observation of the Senate President, I can confidently say he has all it takes to lead this country into a prosperous and peace one,” Ayodele said.
