Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Buruj Sports Academy, Salaudeen Waheed is very optimistic that his team will do the country proud at the TTD International Super Cup which kicks in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) from 3 April.
Players and officials of the team will jet out of the country today (Monday) aboard Etihad Airlines to Dubai, where they are expected to kick-start their international outings this year with TTD International Super Cup.
The tournament which will kick off in the land of the Emirates on Tuesday, April 3rd, is being organised by Swansea, United Kingdom-based sports and tour company, Team Tours Direct.
The CEO of the academy, Salaudeen Waheed, is highly optimistic that his boys will do the country proud while he is still hoping that some of the boys will play their way to the reckoning of top football scouts and agents that will be in attendance.
The Nigerian representatives are drawn to play their preliminary round games against F&R Simsport Eagle, Future Star and TFA and after playing series of friendly games, the players are in top shape to confront all opposition.
The Dubai tournament is first amongst other international competitions the team will feature in 2018. They are also billed to defend their English Super Cup title in Manchester while they will also play in the Spanish Super Cup in Spain and London Cup.
