Buruj Sports Academy Chairman, Waheed Salaudeen, has given the team a solid reassurance on the resumption of football following the indefinite suspension of all sporting activities across the globe in a bid to curtailing the COVID-19 pandemic.
Basking on the recent moves of restoring football back to pace, Dr. Salaudeen Waheed, the CEO of Buruj Sports Academy, an academy that was recently shortlisted as one the top leading academies in the state by the Nigeria Football Federation, said, “We are primed for resumption as soon as the lockdown on social activities, particularly, sports eases and promise to stay in line with the Safety Code, which will be published by the Sports governing body under the watch of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19″.
“We therefore, implore our players to stay safe in all spheres of their health status by portraying the good image of the academy in their daily moves as Football is set to be back,” he admonished.
He also praised the Government at different levels for their relentless efforts to reinstate Football amidst non-combat sports back after a Four (4) months break, while striking balance with the state of public health in the nation.
Furthermore, he reinstated that the battle against the tormenting virus (Coronavirus) will be won through maximum co-operation and support of the masses.
