The football system in Nigeria is getting its face in the global economy and it is the right time for All Football Stakeholders both at the grassroots level to the professional level to take bold step that will make it realizable and transform the Nigeria Football system for good.

Buruj Sports Academy is on the topmost rank amidst academies in Nigeria by the Technical crew of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) on merit. Having been one of the first set of academies in existence for over 13years in talent discovery and exposure to register its players under the standardized platform of the FIFA Connect Database system, an initiative that is poised to set in standards and restore sanity in the Nigeria Football system.

Buruj FC CEO, Dr. Salaudeen Waheed Buruj, said that it is high time we parted ways with the old methodology of handling things and reckon well with the vast technology revolving across the globe.

“Nigeria is a country blessed with influential citizens who have gotten a phase far wide across the continents and are supposed to be a viable tool for the betterment of an abridged sector of interest like football. A country of today living in the dream of the reality of advanced countries is rigid.”

“The N500million Naira Mini-stadium project that is poised to house swimming pool, 5,000 spectators capacity, changing room for two teams, hall, hostel and Athletic track, is achievable if a good number of prominent stakeholders in football can unite under one voice sanctioned by a mutually beneficial interest, lifting the burden off government’s shoulder, as a private body.”

Dr. Salaudeen Waheed Buruj shed more light on the high rate of expenditure incurred on use of field amounting to the tune of N5m.

“We are aware of the large sum of money spent on facilities rentage annually, which brings no succour at the long run bearing in mind that the League, which forms an integral part of talent discovery, is about to begin.”

“More so, we can have more elites in the country, who are real potential investors with genuine love for sports in likes of Mother Theresa of the Universe Rev. Mother Esther Abimbola Ajayi (Buruj FC/SA Life Matron), who has over the years showered rains of millions of Naira to support the academy/Football Club International outings and pursuits. The Arole Oduduwa Olofin Adimula Ooni Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II (Buruj FC/SA Life Patron), whom our sports outfit is proudly associated with. Pulling resources together to achieve this is a great relief to the Nigeria Football, which in turns gives rooms for greater talents to be discovered.”
