According to the CEO of Buruj Football Club/Academy, Dr. Salaudeen Waheed Buruj, with the ownership a multi-million Naira Stadium project in the heart of Ogolonto area of Ikorodu, Lagos, Nigeria, plans are underway for the sports outfit to appoint a foreign coach.
Making further disclosure the CEO said, “I’m not stating that our local coaches aren’t performing up to expectations but having a breed of International coaching crew for my boys also depicts standard. It’s a new drive in our pursuit and will further enhance our performance, advance the knowledge of our boys in modern football, teach them on football philosophy and tactical aspects as there are lineup of tasks, which require a good technical capability that will cut across gaining perfection in all the key areas of the pitch”.
“Currently, preparation for the 2023 Season of the Third Tier Division of the Nigeria League System [Nationwide League One] has hit the top gear including our yearly international exploit.”
“I’m ready to kickoff the negotiations with the foreign coaches, who show genuine interest in nurturing African players at the grassroots level” Dr Buruj concluded.
