Buruj Sports Academy To Beef Up Squad For English Int’l Super Cup

In a bid to present a crack team that should be strong enough to defend their English International Super Cup title in Manchester, the management and technical crew of Buruj Sports Academy are extending invitations to more young players to come forward, register and show what they can do so as to be part of the team to the United Kingdom.

In a new release, about eight players who include two goalkeepers, two midfielders, three defenders and a striker, will be considered to fill the remaining slots and registration will be based on first come, first serve basis.

According to the CEO of the academy, Salaudeen Waheed, who returned to the country about a fortnight ago after holding some talks with the organisers and foreign scouts, the reason for giving more players fresh chance to prove their mettle is not unconnected with the need to ensure that the very best represent the country and play their way to stardom.

It would be recalled that following their sterling performance at the last edition, some players of the academy were courted and offered trials by Borehamwood FC and they are now billed to continue their development in the game combine with their academics before the end of this year after they impress.

The team is expected to storm Dubai, United Arab Emirates to participate in TTD Super Cup which will kick off on April 3,  and preparations for the English Super Cup will be intensified when they return to the country next month.
