Buruj Sports Academy’s 10th Anniversary Awards Night Set To Hold In London

The city of London will play host to the Awards Night to commemorate the 10th Anniversary Celebrations of Buruj Sports Academy in collaboration with Bobby Promotions, the management of the Lagos-based academy has confirmed.

According to the release made available to P.M.EXPRESS, the Awards Night will hold at Oasis Banqueting Hall located at 8 Thames Road, Barking Essex IG11 OHZ, London, on 25^th August, 2018, while Alhaji Musiliu Balogun, a.k.a Bobby, a London-based Philanthropist and Music Promoter will be the Chief Host.

In the same vein, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Buruj Sports Academy, Alhaji Abass Akande Obesere, popularly known as PK1st, will be on the stage to treat the guests with some of his latest music tunes and dance steps in what promises to be a night of varieties.

Among the distinguished Nigerians both home and abroad who were nominated for different kinds of Awards for their support and encouragement over the past 10 years is the Life Matron of the academy who is also the General Overseer of Love of Christ Generation Church, London, Rev. Mother Esther Abimbola Ajayi.

Speaking on the preparations for the event, the CEO of the academy, Salaudeen Waheed, was full of gratitude to the Almighty God for helping him and his management team to get thus far in the business of grassroots football development. He also expressed his appreciation to Alhaji Abass Akande Obesere, who he referred to as a brother and friend, for his unflinching support, not forgetting Alhaji Musiliu Balogun of Bobby Promotions, for his philanthropic gestures and kindness since the players and officials of the academy arrived in the UK where they bagged double titles at the English Super Cup a fortnight ago.

He disclosed that the Awards Night will be used to appreciate all the distinguished individuals who had contributed in no small measure to the success and development of the academy in particular and the well being of mankind in general.
