L-R: Rev.Dr. Ajayi, Life Matron of Buruj Sports Academy, Rev. Mother Esther Abimbola Ajayi and CEO of Buruj, Waheed Salaudeen
The Life Matron of Buruj Sports Academy, Rev. Mother Esther Abimbola Ajayi has showered encomium on the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode for what she described as his giant strides in governance.
Mother Ajayi who is the General Overseer of Love Of Christ Generation Church, London, while addressing players and officials of the academy when they paid a courtesy visit to her in Lagos on Wednesday said he has been highly impressed by what he saw in terms of infrastructural development across the state and challenged the young players to continue to take inspiration from such devotion to excellence in their chosen career.
She also reaffirmed her commitment to upliftment of the standard of living of the less privileged in the society, saying that as a Pastor and Servant of the Most High God, giving should not be restricted to the church environment only.
The highly vivacious clergywoman expressed deep satisfaction over the way the management of the academy are helping the youths to fulfill their potential and prayed that just like some super-stars who are making it big in the beautiful game, many of them will soon be household names.
Also speaking during the visit was her husband Rev. (Dr.) Ajayi who disclosed that he wasn’t surprised by the attention and support which the management and players of the academy are getting from her darling and God-fearing wife whose life is wholly devoted to giving and helping others.
The Seminary lecturer therefore exhorted the young players to continue to embrace discipline and hard work so that they can become some of the best in a not too distant future.
