The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bala Elkana, confirmed that the bus driver, late Bello, actually committed suicide over an undisclosed frustrating situation. He said that on 10th August, 2019, at about 1256hrs, Shomolu Pedro Police Station received information that a bus driver, one Kabiru Bello, 43, of No. 77 Owode Ibeshe, Ikorodu area of Lagos, allegedly drank a liquid substance suspected to be Sniper insecticide in his Volkswagen commercial bus with registration number AKD 724 XM.
