The strategic move comes on the heels of Nigeria’s ever growing internet users which is estimated to be nearly 84 million internet users as of 2022 and is projected to grow to 117 million internet users in 2027. The introduction of the GOtv App places the Pay TV company in pole position to further dominate both the cable TV and video streaming market.
Put into perspective, GOtv customers are getting a two-in-one offer with their regular subscription. The streaming App will complement the use of decoders for television viewership.
