The Religion and Traditions Contact Committee of the Campaign Council Coordinating Committee (CCCC), Ward D, Anifowose, Ikeja, has organised special Islamic prayers for the total victory of All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates in the forthcoming elections.

The prayer session, which brought together Islamic clerics, party leaders, stakeholders, women, youths and faithful from across Ward D, was held in a solemn and spiritual atmosphere, with fervent supplications offered for peace, unity and electoral success.

The prayers were offered for the total victory of:

– President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR – President, Federal Republic of Nigeria
– Dr. Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat – Deputy Governor, Lagos State
– Senator Idiat Adebule – Senator, Lagos West Senatorial District
– Hon. James Abiodun Faleke – Member, House of Representatives, Ikeja Federal Constituency
– Hon. Seyi Lawal– Member, Lagos State House of Assembly, Ikeja Constituency 01
– Hon. Adedamola Richard Kasunmu – Member, Lagos State House of Assembly, Ikeja Constituency 02

During the session, the clerics prayed for divine guidance, protection and favour for all the candidates, as well as for a peaceful, free, fair and credible election across Ikeja, Lagos State and Nigeria as a whole.

They also prayed for the continued progress of Lagos State, the unity of the APC family in Ward D, and for the peace and prosperity of the nation under the leadership of President Tinubu.

Speaking at the event, leaders of the Committee said the prayers were organised in recognition of the power of faith and the need to commit the campaigns and the elections into the hands of God.

According to them, the APC candidates have demonstrated competence, experience and commitment to service, and deserve the overwhelming support of the people of Ikeja.

They urged party members and supporters in Ward D, Anifowose, to remain united, disciplined and committed, to mobilise massively, and to turn out in large numbers to vote for all APC candidates from top to bottom.

The event ended with renewed enthusiasm, solidarity and a collective declaration of confidence that victory shall be total for the APC in Ward D, Ikeja and beyond.
