Certified Protocol Practitioners Inaugurate New Executive Council In Lagos

A new Executive Council of Association of Certified Protocol Practitioners of Nigeria (ACPPN) was inaugurated at the weekend in Lagos.

The inauguration ceremony was held at the Eko Hotels & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos where aviation legends, members of the diplomatic corps, corporate personalities among others graced the occasion to discuss on the theme: Enhancing Professionalism and Promoting Protocol Practice in Nigeria Beyond the Rhetoric.

Hon Keneath-Divine has headed the helms of affairs of the certified protocol professional body as the founding president alongside her outstanding executive council who had made a distinct contribution to utmost excellence of Protocol practice in the country.

Hon. President Mike Ikinbor, the director of Administration and Protocol Unit of the prestigious Century Groups, is now the President of the Association of Certified Protocol Practitioners in Nigeria, taking over the baton of leadership from Patricia keneath-Divine, a senior director at International Center for Protocol and Diplomacy, UK.

inaugurated.

The ACPPN will now be working on a smoother synergy with aviation industry, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Culture/Tourism, security, and many other relevant professional spheres at both private and government sector.

Chairman Board of Trustees, Ambassador Akin Oyateru and Ambassador Toyin Solaja expressed their gratitude to all the members of the association especially the newly elected executive council.

Chairman Sabré West Africa and Central Africa Republic, Dr Gabriel Olowo, who was the special guest of honour, ably represented by former director UAC, Mr Sini Ijogun said, the aviation legend is happy to associate with the association and he is ready to offer his humble support towards the advancement of aviation industry and other related sector where protocol is essential.
