As the Super Eagles files out Monday evening against Amavubi of Rwanda in a group c game at the on – going CHAN tournament in Morocco, Kalu Orji, one of the central defenders in the team has said that the team expect a difficult game against their Rwandan counterpart.
Orji is of the firm opinion that playing against Rwanda will not be a easy tie, though a lot football fans in Nigeria are thinking that it is going be an easy flight of the Super Eagles , but the team is fully prepared to begin their quest for laurels in CHAN tournament with a victory at the end of 90 minutes.
” We expect a difficult game against Rwanda. No team is an easy ride in African football . We know how football has developed in Africa and we will not underrate Rwanda anyway”. Kalu Orji said.
“I know little about Rwanda football, but I see this game as an opportunity to take the three points at stake” he added.
Orji, who plies his trade with Rangers Football Club of Enugu said that Rwanda and the other teams in the group can give the Super Eagles headache if the players step unto the field lackadaisically .
” Any team can give the Super Eagles a problem depending on the team approach the game against the opponents and that is the reason we are not going to underrate any team whether Rwanda , Equatorial Guinea and Libya, the team that won the tournament in 2014″, he concluded .
